This weekend I went up to my lake house. It was really cold, but the lighting was great, so I decided to shoot here. This is a flower up at my lake house. I thought it was pretty so I took a picture of it. I also did a couple of my sister. So this was kind of two assignments. I had a hard time just shooting one thing, so I needed something else. So I decided to do my sister. The editing I did for this photo was crop it, because the background was really loud, increase the tint, decreases the highlights, decrease the shadows, and increase the vibrance. Below are some other pictures from my shoot.

For this assignment we had to photoshop an original photo to match the DEMO photo. I had a lot of fun with this assignment. I enjoyed changing the picture to your own personal liking. I learned a lot in this assignment. I learned about the clone stamp tool, levels, layers, the quick selection tool, and the lasso tool. Below, the picture on the left is the original, and the picture on the right is the one I edited.
This is my second photo assignment. I chose nature for my topic. I had a hard time with this assignment because I couldn't find any inspiration. I shot these just in my backyard, it was around 5:00 in the evening . The lighting was really good, I was actually really happy with that. I learned that I need to find inspiration, so I can get more out of the photos. Below is my best picture from this assignment, and below that is other pictures from the shoot. Also, I learned that I need to take more pictures. This shoot I only Tok about like 25 pictures. Next time I'm going to do more, so I have a better selection. I did edit this picture. I increased the temperature, shadows and whites. I decreased highlights, contrast, and exposure.
My first photoshop assignment was pop art. You had to take a picture of yourself, and put it into quadrants and change the color. This looks easy, but it was actually a lot of work. I earned a lot in this assignment. I learned how to photoshop, change the color, center an image, and editing the picture. This was a fun assignment and I can't wait to do more photoshop assignments. Below is a picture of the original picture before it was photoshopped.
This was my first photo assignment and I chose the topic people. I went to a special olympics event , and there was biking and football. I was trying to freeze the motion, but I don't think I did it that well. I learned that people are hard to shoot. They are always moving or changing their facial expressions. It's hard to shoot at the right moment. The only editing I did in this photo was make it black and white.
For my first photography assignment I chose the topic of people. I like taking pictures of people not showing their faces, but I am also open to taking pictures with their faces. Here are some of my inspirations....
About the cOmposition assignmentThis assignment was called the composition assignment. I used the elements of composition to take these pictures. For composition 1, there was pattern, symmetry, texture, depth of field, and lines. For composition 2 there was, framing, perspective, space, balance, and color.
I learned a lot in this assignment. I learned the elements of composition. I also learned how to export pictures, and edit pictures in Lightroom. Finally, I learned how to make a blog with new posts. :) Hello, I'm Madison! Welcome to my blog. I love to take pictures. My favorite pictures to take in composition is depth in field. I feel like I'm pretty good at it. I also love to plan and be organized. I took this class because I want to get better at taking pictures. I also want to know more about different ways you can take them.
